Animal Land Children's Farm is a family-owned and operated business located in the serene countryside of Diggers Rest, Victoria. Since its founding in 1985 by Laurie and Joanne Pincini, the farm has been a place where visitors can experience the joy of farm life up close. With a passion for creating connections between people and nature, Laurie and Joanne started Animal Land to offer authentic, hands-on farm experiences for families, schools, and communities.
What began as a small farm offering simple animal interactions has grown into one of Victoria's leading tourist attractions. Over the years, Laurie and Joanne have poured their hearts into expanding the farm's offerings. From introducing educational programs and VIP tours to adding farm stay accommodations and seasonal events, Animal Land has become a hub for education, fun, and community engagement.
As a family business, Animal Land remains deeply connected to its roots and community. Laurie and Joanne’s dedication to providing unforgettable experiences has not only touched the lives of thousands of visitors but also earned recognition with multiple awards, including the prestigious Hume Business Award for Visitor Economy (Tourism) and the Gold award for Victorian Tourism Attractions in 2024.

Our Farm is open to the General Public all year round, including school holidays.

Animal land has been specifically set up to give children a real, hands-on farming experience. Unlike other animal attractions, visitors don’t simply observe our animals. Our visitors get to hold, pat, feed, ride and truly experience farm life first-hand.
